Virtual STEAM Challenge: Shadow Theater

Ages 6-8

Our Virtual STEAM Challenges are engaging, hands-on experiences for children using materials found around the home. To create your own shadow theater please gather the following materials prior to class:

  • Plastic sandwich bag
  • Tape
  • Scissors
  • Thin cardboard (empty cereal boxes are ideal)
  • Construction paper
  • A variety of light objects that are transparent, translucent, or opaque.
