Virtual STEAM Challenge: Awesome Collages

Ages 6-12
Join us in celebrating International Day of Awesomeness by crafting an extraordinary mixed media collage with materials found around your home. Mixed media collages are collages that are created using more than one material. Before class, please gather a pair of scissors, glue, and a variety of materials that you’d like to incorporate into your collage. Some suggestions of materials include:
- Construction paper
- Used magazines or newspapers
- Tinfoil, wax paper, tissue paper or parchment paper
- Cotton balls or Q-tips
- Cardboard
- Fabric scraps
- Paint, chalk, charcoal
- Pencils, markers, crayons, and colored pencils
